CameliaBay Patson
Truelegance Dark of Night@CameliaBay
"Patton"
Handsome Patton is NEW AKC CHAMPION receiving a major at the
Mobile Kennel Club, September, 2023.
Judge Larry Abbott, shown expertly by Michael Pitts.
Bred by outstanding breeder Valerie Cromer.
Wonderful time at Mobile, Alabama cluster of 2 all breed clubs and 1 Toy group club.
CameliaBay was well represented in the wins.
Truelegance Dark of Night@CameliaBay, Patton, bred by Valerie Cromer, received his Championship Sept 9, under Judge Larry Abbott by going WD/BW. YEAH!!!
What made it extra special is Patson, Patton's son went reserve to Daddy!
Then, Cottfordcourt Dynasty@CameliaBay, 'Lexi' bred by the Cottfordcourt ladies, Sue Miller and Gwen Wells, received WB on the same day for her first major.
On Sunday, Sept 10, 2023, the judge was Randy Garren.
CameliaBay Patson
went WD/BW for his first major,
In addition, he also picked up
3 singles under judges Charles Olvis and B.E. Ray earlier in the week.
On the girls side, CameliaBay Let's Go Shopping, Macy,
went WB, for her first Major on Sunday.
I have never had 4 cavaliers receive Majors at the same show.
It will be a memory for a lifetime.
It also was a fun weekend in the ring. On Saturday, I was frazzled as I was late getting to the ring. So, I, with my old dolly and somewhat rusty crates come running in at the last minute. My handler, Michael Pitts with Patton was yelling, 'Get in the ring, right here' and pulled me to my correct spot. Then the judge tells us to exit (too many dogs, small ring), and Mike says to the judge, 'I just got her in here and you want us to leave?? The poor judge just looked at us, as it seemed the ring was rather rachous. Then Hiram Stewart says to Mike, 'I had to finish one of her dogs for you." All in jest, as Hiram had shown one of my dogs at a show I couldn't get to. It was all in fun and I know I enjoyed the comradrie immensely.
It was a weekend to remember, both for the wins and the good times with the other exhibitors.

"Guido"
Guido,.....Still beautiful at 9 years old (7-2012). Such a sweet cavalier!
He is my first male and has been such a joy. He will always be number one in my heart.
Our precious Guido has gone to the Rainbow Bridge, April 22,2014.
We shall miss his yodel bark, his curled tongue when he was insistently begging for his treat,
and his cocked head when you spoke to him. He was our ideal of a cavalier. Rest peacefully Guido.
